UDHAMPUR, Jan 11: A public meeting was held in village Panchayat Halqa Barta which was organized by the local people in connection with their problems.
As per a release, Member State BJP Election Committee, Pawan Gupta was a special invitee in the meeting. The speakers alleged that the people of the Panchayat are being ignored by the elected representatives as well as the district administration and their problems are compounding day by day.
They highlighted the problems of drinking water, irregular power supply as people in the area face heavy curtailment, lack educational and medicare facilities with poor condition of roads.
They alleged that the problems were brought in the notice of elected representatives who failed to settle them.
They extended full support to Pawan Gupta who in turn assured the people that if given chance he will devote himself in total serviced of the people.
Sarpanch Raj Mohammed Chandail, Panch, Govind Ram, Raj Kumar Buccha, Sumer Khajuria, Ashok Jagotra and others addressed the meeting.
