JAMMU, Oct 22: Eleven vehicles were seized for mining illegally in Jammu District today, police said.
They said nine vehicles, including six dumpers and three excavators, were seized by a team of Police Post Chattha led by incharge Police Post Chattha, PSI Harjinder Paul Singh, and two vehicles were seized by a team of Police Post Greater Kailash, led by incharge Police Post, PSI Puneet Sharma.
“The seized vehicles were mining in violation of a High Court order,” police said, adding that the District Mineral Officer (DMO) Jammu has been informed about the vehicles recovered.
