JAMMU, Oct 23: Murti of Gurumata Mohini Ji Khosa was installed today in Shree Guru Niwas Ashram, Shakti Nagar here. Guru Mata attained nirvana three years ago in the year 2020 and the Ashram is having thousands of disciples.
The devotees were present in large numbers on the occasion of Mahanavmi where an Akhand Kirtan was held. Prasad was distributed on the occasion.
An Ashram hand out issued said Guru Mata always laid stress on the holding of Kirtans and Bhajans to create an environment of peace and harmony in the society and also to achieve spiritual upliftment of an individual. It is pertinent to mention here that the Guru Niwas Ashram was established in the year 1988 by her and eversince religious functions and Akhand Kirtans have been held there regularly. The function of Murti Sthapna was held under the supervision of Geeta Khosa, the incharge of the Ashram. She had a special word of praise for the Management Committee members, for their efforts to make this function successful.
