JAMMU, Oct 23: A Sham-E-Gazal programme was organised by Adbi Kunj here today.
This programme was presided over by the President Adbi Kunj Sham Taleb.
The special guests during the program were Shah Nawaz, in-charge of all languages of Cultural Academy and Ramesh Chandr Gupta retired Chief Engineer. Neelam Mahotra beautified the programme with her performing the duties of conducting the programme
The singer in this Sham-E-Ghazal programme was Sunil Verma, who entertained the audience by singing the sweet ghazals.
The first Ghazal of Sham Talib was ”Dil se teri yaad ko aise bhula kar rakh diya, jaise ek jalta Diya hum ne bujha kar rakh diya.”
Madam Santosh Shah Nadan’s ghazal was ‘Ahl-e-gham se dillagi karte rahe, zulmatun men roshani karte rahe.
Payasa ‘Anjum’s ghazal was “Har ek dard ko hans-hans ke Taal deta hai, kisi-kisi ko Khuda yeh kamaal deta hai”.
Ramesh Raaz Kishtwari’s Ghazal was “Kisi tasveer ko dil se lagana theek lagta hai, ghadi bhar ke liye gam ko bhulana theek lagta hai. Aash Dalmotra’s Ghazal was “jawani gaye zamana ho gaya hai, kahani ka fasana ho gaya hai”.
Bishan Dass ‘Khaak’s ghazals were ”paas betho hamare ghadi do ghadi, dekh lein kuchh nazaare ghadi do ghadi”.
‘Arash’ Dalmotra’s Ghazal was ”Jwani Gaye Zamana Ho gya hai, Kahani ka fasana ho gya hai’ and ghazal of Sarwar Chohan ‘Habeeb was ”Chehra khilta ghulab tha uska, sab ki aankhon mein khawab tha uska.”
The vote of thanks was presented by Sham Taleb.
