SAMBA, Oct 25 : Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh handed over 40 recovered Smartphones worth rupees six lakh approximately to their actual owners at an impressive function organised at District Police Headquarters, Samba today.
Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary, Deputy SP, Garu Ram among other officers were present on the occasion.
In a short span of nine months, total 134 costly cell phones worth rupees 17 lakh approximately have been recovered by Samba Police and handed over to the actual owners.
Owners of the Android Mobile phones and their families appreciated the role of Samba Police, especially speedy recovery of Android Mobile phones and expressed thanks for returning the same in a time-bound manner.
On the occasion, Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh said that 134 mobile phones worth rupees 17 lakh approximately have been recovered by police in nine months in Samba district and hand over to the actual owners. SSP further said that police is thankful to the owners of android mobile phones for coming all the way to collect recovered mobiles, otherwise police would have respectfully handed over the same at their doorsteps.
SSP Samba reiterated that police is committed to solve all big or small property related cases on priority basis and towards that end police would leave no stone unturned in Samba district.
