SAVE organises health camp for dogs, cats

JAMMU, Oct 25: The two day free surgery, sterilization and vaccination camp organised by Save Animals Value Environment (SAVE), an NGO working for the welfare of animals in collaboration with Vet Care Pet Clinic concluded here today.
In the Camp 50 pet and stray dogs and cats were sterilized, vaccinated and operated upon by the veterinary doctors trained from World Veterinary Service.
The dogs and cats were given vaccinations against many serious and communicable diseases. 7 in 1 Vaccine, Tri-Cat Vaccine and Anti Rabies Vaccine were sponsored by Inner Wheel Club, Jammu, Subhash Gupta and Sanjeev Prabhakar, owner of Anutham Hotels and Restaurant.
Dr. Gourav Chowdhary, Dr. Mithleshwar Thakur, Dr. Preety and Dr. Ganpat offered their services in the Camp.
Animal lovers brought dogs and cats from Udhampur, Akhnoor, Nagrota for surgeries of tumours and other ailments.
SAVE Society offered free services of ambulance to animal lovers who wanted to get the community animals sterilized and vaccinated.
Speaking on the occasion, Devinder Kaur Madaan, president SAVE informed that more such free camps will be organised in different parts of J&K in near future.
