Traders Federation organises Medical Camp

JAMMU, Oct 28: A free medical camp was organised here today by Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market in collaboration with Sewa Bharti and National Medicos Organisation.
Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and CEO of Smart City Jammu, Rahul Yadav inaugurated the camp in the presence of Deepak Gupta, president Traders Federation and representatives of Sewa Bharti.
The medical camp was accomplished by Dr. Vinod Khajuria (Ortho), Dr. Akhil Gupta (Ortho), Dr. Sanjay Sharma (Surgeon), Dr. Kulwant Singh, president National Medicos Organisation, pharmacists and other supporting staff.
Various medical services such as blood pressure monitoring and basic examinations were done in the camp along with awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention.
“Free medicines for joint pains, cold and cough, rheumatoid arthritis, insomnia, general weakness, scabies and for other chronic illnesses were distributed among the patient,” the organisers said.
Deepak Gupta said with the help of Sewa Bharti and National Medicos Organisation, such camps will be organized in future also.
Among those who were present in the medical camp were Munish Mahajan, senior vice president; Vishal Gupta, secretary of the Federation; Ajay Takoo, Health Incharge Sewa Bharti; MBBS students Prarthna Sharma, Manya Sharma, BDS students Nudrat Malik, Zaid, Ifra, Sharandeep and Abbas.
