Time to eradicate terror, drug menace from society: SSP Samba

SAMBA, Oct 28 : In honour of martyrs of J&K Police, Samba Police today organised cultural programme followed by unity rally at Nud in which thousands of students, teachers, prominent citizens, PRI members, noted social activists and Police officers participated.
SSP Samba Benam Tosh, accompanied by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, Deputy SP G.R.Bhardwaj, SHO Daljit Singh, Chowki Officers Deepika Jalotra & Priya Rani presented cash rewards to the tune of Rs 55000 to the talented students for their best performance in the impressive cultural programme.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included BDC Chairman Dev Raj, Principal Sunita Puri, Sarpanch Suresh Kumar, Sarpanch Surinder Singh and Chairman Lambardar Association Samba Sardar Singh.
Public appreciated the role of J&K Police and recalled supreme sacrifices of police personnel in the line of duty for the sake of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Benam Tosh said that sacrifices of Jammu Kashmir Police are great many and Police bravehearts have laid down their precious lives to protect the lives of people. Tosh further said that Police personnel are true and selfless friends and there is need to strengthen police-public relations to eradicate terrorism, crime, corruption and drug menace from the society.
