JAMMU, Oct 28: An unidentified person, aged around 35, was found hanging with a tree here at Sidhra area, today.
A police spokesperson said, “around 8:10 am, we got information that one person was hanging from a tree using his belt and a sheet, near Balaji Temple, Sidhra.”
Accordingly, a team from Police Post Sidhra reached at the spot and shifted the person to Government Medical College Jammu, where he was declared as dead on arrival.
While police have shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem inquest proceedings have also been initiated to identify the deceased and ascertain the reasons as to why he took such an extreme step to end his life.
