Ravinder pays tribute to martyrs at Qila Darhal

NOWSHERA, Oct 28: Former MLC & Senior Vice President of JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma today visited Shahedgarh (Qila Darhal) and paid tribute to the civilian & Army martyrs in a grand function there.
The function was attended by senior Army and civil officers and prominent members of civil society and Gurudwara committee besides large number of people.
The wreath laying ceremony was held at the Shaheedi Sthal to pay rich tribute to all the martyrs of 1947 and subsequent wars and other anti terrorism operations
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Sharma recalled the supreme sacrifices of the civilians of Qila Darhal who repulsed the attack of raiders in 1947 at the cost of their lives and defended the nation.
He said that the martyrdom of Qila Darhal is an inspiration for the generations to come and the Government & administration must come forward in a big way to promote the area & upgrade the facilities for the annual function of martyrdom.
