JAMMU, Oct 29: Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal today announced its new Prant Executive Committee for Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh and appointed Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Jammu as the Adhyaksh (President).
Prof Vandana Sharma and Rajinder Charak were nominated as Upadhyaksh (Vice-Presidents), Vishal Sharma as Mantri (State Secretary), Prof Bharat Bhushan and Dr Narinder Sharma as Sah-mantri (Joint Secy), Prof Suram Singh as Kosh Pramukh (Treasurer), Inderjeet Singh as Sah-kosh Pramukh and Gunjan Sharma as Prachar Pramukh (Publicity Head).
Anurag Kumar was nominated as Ikai Pramukh SMVDU, Satish Kumar as Ikai Sah-pramukh SMVDU, Rajeev Bharat as Anusandhan Prakosht Pramukh, Kamlesh Bali as Anusandhan Prakosht Sah-pramukh, Dr Neelika Arora as Shaikshik Prakosht Pramukh, Dr Neerendra Kumar as Shaikshik Prakosht, Sah-pramukh, Raminii Gupta as Mahila Prakalp Pramukh, Dr Vinita Sharma as Mahila Prakalp Sah-pramukh, Sushant Panda as Shaley Prakalp Pramukh, Dr Vandana Sharma as Prakashan Pramukh, Dr S S Kotwal as Yuva Aayam Pramukh, Dr Ketan Bhatt as Yuva Aayam Sah-pramukh, Davinder Manhas as Yuva Aayam Sah-pramukh, Amit Sharma as Sampark Pramukh, Sukh Chain Sharma as Sampark Sah-pramukh, Dr Amit Gangotia as Karyalaya Pramukh and Pariyas Sharma as Karyalaya Sah-pramukh.
The new executive body was announced during a seminar, organized by the Central University of Jammu in collaboration with Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal on “Bharatiya Values for Transforming Education in Bharat”. Eminent academicians, thinkers and scholars participated in the seminar and expressed their views.
Dr Dilip Kumar, Palak Adhikari, Uttar Shetra and Professor, IIMC Jammu, chaired the inaugural session and Dr Vibhuti Gaur, Professor, IGNOU and Akhil Bhartiya Mahila Sah Pramukh was the Keynote Speaker while Chanchal Bhardwaj, Akhil Bhartiya Sankalp Sah Pramukh was the guest of honour.
Dr Vibhuti Gaur announced the Executive body and highlighted the responsibilities of BSM as an extension of the family, focusing on the responsibility of contributing to the country’s educational landscape.
The program was attended by Prof Yashwant Singh, Registrar, CUJ; Prof Vinay Kumar and other faculty members of CUJ along with Karyakartas from other States of the northern region. Prof Bharat Bhushan provided an introduction to the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal.
The formal welcome address was delivered by Prof Vandana Sharma, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Amit Gangotiya. Dr. Ketan Bhatt conducted the proceedings.
