Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Oct 31: Kathua Campus, University of Jammu (JU) organized a graceful event titled ‘Au Revoir Rendezvous’ to mark the departure of Dr Meenakshi Kilam who served as Rector of the Campus since 2021. Today, Dr Kilam officially superannuated from her role at the University. The event was a fitting tribute to her contributions, where faculty, staff, and students gathered to express their gratitude and best wishes. The event was characterized by an atmosphere of camaraderie, nostalgia, and heartfelt sentiments as teachers and students reminisced about the positive impact Dr Kilam has had on the campus.
Sunita Chadha, Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura (Jammu) superannuated today after giving 37 years to School Education Department. She worked in capacities of Teacher, Master, Lecturer and finally as Principal. In a function organized today. Sunita was accorded a warm send off by the staff of the School.
In a function organized today, Ramesh Kumar, Gaestner Assistant, posted in the Directorate of Health Services Jammu was accorded a warm send off by the officers and officials of the Directorate on his superannuation. He rendered more than 40 years of service in the Department. He was a sincere and dedicated person. Director Health Services Jammu Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma and other staff wished Ramesh Kumar good health and prosperous post retirement life.
District Police Samba accorded warm send off to six retiring officers in an impressive function organized at District Police Line Samba. SSP Samba Benam Tosh accompanied by other officers with highest honour presented retirement gifts of rupees one lakh each to the retiring officers on the occasion. The officers/officials who retired from service were SI MadanLal, SI Pardhuman Singh, SI Narinder Mohan, SI TarsemLal, SI Sagar Chand and Follower Gurcharan Singh. The SSP while wishing all the best on behalf of J&K Police to the retiring officers hoped that they would certainly serve the civil society being highly experienced persons possessing vast knowledge.
