Srinagar, Oct 31: At least 4 persons died while 10 others were injured after a vehicle fell into gorge in Nowagabra area of Karnah in Kupwara district today.
An official said that the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, resulting in the death of 4 persons.
He said that 10 others travelling in the vehicle also suffered injuries in the incident.
Swift response from local residents and the police was crucial in assisting and evacuating the injured passengers from the accident site. The injured individuals have been promptly transferred to a nearby hospital for necessary medical treatment.

The dead have been identified as Saida Bano, 22, resident of Nawagabra, daughter of Nazir Ahmad Awan, Mohammad Sayeed Raina, 55, son of late Abdul Rahman, resident of Nowagabra, Razia Bano, 18, daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Kadlal, resident of Nowagabra and Nusrat Begum, aged 35, wife of Mohammad Idrees Awan, resident of Nowagabra.
