UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: Members of District Bar Association, Udhampur today suspended their work in resentment against alleged misbehavior by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur with one of their colleagues, who had gone to the DC office to represent his case.
Decision to lodge a token of protest was taken during general house meeting of the Bar Association yesterday to discuss the treatment meted out to Advocate Surinder Khajuria, who was allegedly ousted from DC office by bodyguard of the DC.
The Advocates also resolved to boycott Court of DC Udhampur for 15 days after which further course of action will be decided.
