JAMMU, Nov 4: Playway House Higher Secondary School, Pounichak, organized an inter-school Rangoli Competition, that drew participation from over nine schools.
Sanjay Kumar Baru, Councillor Ward 41, Chairperson Basanti Ambardar, Principal Anita Koul, renowned musician Suraj Sharma, Academic Director, Arun Ambardar and social leader, Deepak Sharma graced the event.
Presenting the winners and runner-ups with trophies, chief guest, Sanjay Baru lauded the students for their excellent performance and bringing laurels to their schools and their parents. He said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has stressed the youth specific policies and schemes. He also spoke about the National Education Policy (NEP) and enumerated the benefits to the students of all ages pursuing academic and professional courses.
He added that the PM is pursuing agenda for the development of nation and extending every possible help to ensure strengthening of weak and neglected students and the youth of the society. He exhorted upon them to focus and study well and display their talent in curricular activities like drawing, sports etc. and fulfil the dreams of their parents and their institutions.
The competition witnessed a display of incredible artistic talent as schools from the Jammu region came together to showcase their Rangoli-making skills. Each participating team presented unique and stunning Rangoli designs, making it a truly remarkable event.
In this competition Elite Public High School emerged as the winner. Their intricate and captivating Rangoli left a lasting impression on the judges and the audience.
The first and second runner-up positions were secured by Humanity Public School and JK Montessori Public School, respectively. Their exceptional Rangoli designs demonstrated the high level of talent and dedication among the students.
The event not only celebrated the rich tradition of Rangoli art but also highlighted the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among schools in the region. It provided a platform for students to express their creativity and artistic skills, and for the schools to come together in the spirit of collaboration and celebration.
