JAMMU, Nov 4: Stephens Group of Institutions (under the aegis of Dr Aparna Educational Trust) organized a Book Fair cum Exhibition in the College premises.
The Fair was organized by the Department of Library Sciences with Sonia Sharma, Chief Librarian; Pallavi, Librarian and Shiv, Librarian.
This salutary initiative was started by Manoj Kotru, Administrator SCON. Objective of the book fair was to develop the habit of exploring learning skills by accessing Library Resources. The aim of Book Fair was to acquaint the students with nova books of Nursing and B. Sc Allied Health Sciences with latest syllabus.
Chief Librarian, Sonia Sharma briefed all attendees of Book Fair about new series of books which were available in the Fair. All the books were of latest edition which will certainly enhance knowledge and reading skills of the readers.
Aim of this Book Fair was also to give exposure and knowledge of different books with latest syllabus.
There will be series of substantial Book and Exhibitions to improve and augment the reading skills and enhance the knowledge and to acquaint new edition.
Kheema Peshin, Vice Principal SCON and all the faculty members were also present in the Book Fair.
Manoj Kotru assured that such kind of Book Exhibitions will be organized to build comprehension skill, knowledge and vocabulary for understating new subject matter and improve the reading skill of the students as well as Faculty Members.
Ramsujan Jayswal, Area Sales Manager from Jay Pee Publications and Yassar Khan showcased different books in the Fair.
