RAJOURI, Nov 4: A teenaged boy hailing from Broh village of Kalakote tehsil in district Rajouri died due to drowning in a local river.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Imtiaz (19), son of Mohammad Rashid, resident of Broh village in Kalakote, the police said.
They said the boy went for bathing in the local river. During bathing he slipped into the deep water and drowned. Later, the body of the deceased was fished out by the local youth from the river. The police initiated legal proceedings into the matter.
