Manoranjan Kala Kendra organizes Punjabi Mushaira

JAMMU, Nov 5: Manoranjan Kala Kendra (MKK), Jammu organized a Punjabi Mushaira at the residence of RS Broca, at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu today.
Well known Punjabi poets from Jammu and Kashmir attended the programme. Ajeet Singh Mastana, a noted Punjabi poet from Kashmir was the chief guest whereas, noted poets and writers Davinder Singh Vishavnagrik and Jang S. Verman were the guests of honour on this occasion. RS Broca presided over the programme, whereas TS Premee, Secretary MKK shared the dais. Dr Rajinder Thappa, Founder Member MKK, was also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the poets and the guests, Premee gave a brief of the activities of MKK.
In his presidential address Ajeet Singh Mastana expressed his views on the poems recited by the poets in the Mushaira. In his address he appreciated that the quality poetry in Punjabi was presented by all the participants. Davinder Singh Vishavnagrik and Jang S. Verman appreciated the participation of young generation in the upliftment of the Punjabi literary pursuits. Dr Nirmal Vinod also spoke on the occasion.
The poets who recited their poems in the meeting, included Bhupinder Singh Bhargav, Bachan Singh Bharti, AS Mastana, Amarjeet Kour Neer, Harjit Singh Uppal, Balwinder Singh Deep, Jang S. Verman, J P Singh Azad, Pritam Singh Anjaan, RS Mastana, Surinder Safal, Amanpreet Kour and Dr. Rajveer Singh.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by TS Premee while Dr Thappa extended vote of thanks.
