JAMMU, Nov 5: Stephens Group of Institutions (SGI) under the aegis of Dr Aparna Educational Trust organized a book fair- cum- exhibition here today.
It was organized by the Department of Library Sciences. This salutary initiative was commenced by Manoj Kotru, Administrator SCON. The objective of the book fair was to develop habit of exploring the learning skills by accessing the Library resources and acquaint the students with nova books of Nursing, allied Health Sciences with latest syllabus. The Chief Librarian Sonia Sharma briefed all attendees about the new series of books which were available in the fair. All the books were of latest edition which will certainly enhance their knowledge and reading skills of the readers.
Kheema Peshin, Vice Principal and all the faculty members were also present during this mega event. Kotru assured that such kind of activities will build comprehension skill, knowledge and vocabulary for understating new subject matter and improve the reading skills of the students as well as the faculty members.
