DHSK forms academic cell for DNB program

Srinagar, Nov 7: The Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK), has established the Divisional Academic Cell to oversee the functioning of the courses under the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the Kashmir Division.
According to the directives issued in this regard, the formation of the cell has been mandated in the interest of administration to ensure the smooth operation of the DNB program in District/ Sub-District Hospitals and Community Health Centers.
The cell will comprise Dr. Shabeena, Assistant Director, DHSK; Dr. Mir Mushtaq, Nodal Officer, NTCP; Dr. Irfan Shams, ENT Consultant, DH Pulwama; Abdul Rouf Sheikh, Senior Assistant (Gazetted Section); Muhammad Ashraf, Senior Assistant (Non-Gazetted Section); and Mehdi Hussain, Budget & Finance Officer (NHM), DHSK.
These officers are assigned to manage the Post Graduate programs under the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) at the Divisional level in addition to their own duties.
Furthermore, as per the order, the Assistant Director will lead the Academic cell at the divisional level and serve as the single point of contact for all DNB-related queries and will provide regular updates to the chair regarding the program’s progress.
