SAMBA, Nov 7: A youth ended his life by hanging himself in Rayor village of Samba near here this evening.
According to the information received from the police, 34-year-old Sinka Ram, son of Tara Chand committed suicide by hanging himself in his house on Tuesday. It may be recalled that on October 28, Sinka Ram and his wife Babbu Devi had consumed poisonous substances in their house, after which Babbu Devi died in Samba District Hospital and her husband Sinka Ram was referred to the Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu in a serious condition. On Tuesday, he ended his life at his residence. The body has been kept in the mortuary of District Hospital Samba for post-mortem. The police have also registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
