JAMMU, Nov 8: A delegation from Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) J&K Council today visited Arun Manhas, newly appointed Director of Industries & Commerce (I&C) for Jammu at his office to extend their support and discuss various issues related to Industries and Commerce in the region.
The delegation was led by Manik Batra, Chairman of ASSOCHAM J&K Council and Director of Batra Group, Bhupesh Gupta, Co-Chairman of ASSOCHAM J&K Council and Managing Partner of Radisson Blu Jammu and Amit Khajuria, Assistant Director of ASSOCHAM J&K, Ladakh.
The meeting, which took place at the Directorate of I&C in Jammu, marked a significant step towards strengthening the collaboration between ASSOCHAM and the Industries Department in J&K. Arun Manhas, who has recently taken charge as the Director of Industries & Commerce, expressed his commitment to fostering growth and development in the region’s industries.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the industrial and commercial landscape of J&K were discussed. The ASSOCHAM delegation pledged its unwavering support to the Industries Department in realizing their shared vision for the State’s industrial sector. Chairman of ASSOCHAM J&K Council, commended the ongoing efforts by ASSOCHAM to facilitate economic growth and investment opportunities in the region.
Arun Manhas expressed his appreciation for the work being carried out by ASSOCHAM in J&K and acknowledged the pivotal role it plays in driving economic advancement. He reiterated his commitment to facilitating a business-friendly environment and extending full support to the industries in J&K.
