SURANKOTE, Nov 8: JKPCC vice president and DDC Member from Surankote-A block, Shahnawaz Choudhary kick started road work from Sub Centre Mundaymar to Sangla Hali today in presence of Executive Engineer, AEE R&B Division Surankote and prominent citizens of the area.
This project has been sanctioned under NABARD costing Rs 7 crore. Whole speaking on the occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that this area lacked basic infrastructure and this was ignored by previous political leadership. Road infrastructure influences life of common people in positive way and this is my top priority as DDC Member.
He further said that he is thankful to people of Surankote for giving him this opportunity to serve people and do something to change lives of common people. He assured them of every possible assistance to public gathering.
JKPYC vice president Madasar Choudhary also addressed public gathering and said that development projects like sports stadium, public park, road infrastructure and other work in recent times are example of work done in this tenure of Shahnawaz Choudhary which were ignored during last 40 years.
Local public present on this occasion gave warm welcome to Shahnawaz Choudhary and other dignitaries.
