Gopal, Purnima start lane-drain work

JAMMU, Nov 8: Senior BJP leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) of Ward number 5, Gopal Gupta along with former Dy. Mayor and BJP spokesperson, Purnima Sharma here today started lane and drain work near DC Office.
The work shall be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 44 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Gopal Gupta, who is also Chairman of Swacch Bharat Committee of JMC, reiterated his commitment to work with dedication for the people of his Ward to develop the area and also in addressing any other issue confronting them.
He said that people of the Ward are fully aware of transformation on the ground and want BJP Government to again come back to power for the third time.
Purnima Sharma claimed that the incumbent government at the Centre in synchronization with J&K administration led by LG Manoj Sinha has totally transformed the developmental scenario of this Union Territory with unprecedented developmental works.
She said that PM Narendra Modi has a soft corner for the people of J&K and there are many funds for development in this Union Territory.
Chaman, Ward 5 president; Sunil Prajapati, president OBC Morcha of BJP; Neeraj Gupta, Anil Dutta, Mahi and Bakshi were also present on the occasion.
