JAMMU, Nov 8: A 45-year-old labourer was found dead from Satwari area here on Tuesday, police said.
They said Surinder Verma son of Tilak Raj Verma of Housing Colony, Janipur, was found under mysterious circumstances at Sabzi Mandi, Satwari area around 8:30 PM on Tuesday.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, said police.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem inquest proceedings have been initiated by the police to ascertain the cause of the death of the labourer.
