JAMMU, Nov 9: Apni Party Jammu provincial president and former minister, Manjit Singh today strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Pakistan Rangers along the International Border in Ramgarh Sector in Samba district in which a Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan was martyred anti-Pakistan while protests were also held in Jammu by Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) and Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK).
Condemning the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, Manjit Singh expressed his sympathy with the family members of the martyred BSF Jawan who laid down his life while responding to the unprovoked firing of Pakistani Rangers. Manjit expressed serious concern over the breach of peace with the violation of cease fire by Pakistan targeting the forward villages at the time at the peak of harvest season. “Pakistan is trying to disturb peace for the second time within a short time i.e., earlier in Arnia and now in Ramgarh where civilian areas were targeted,” he said, adding, the border residents are living under constant fear of being shelled from across the border.
The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally and burnt the Pakistan flag, to express their anger against the martyrdom of a BSF Jawan in Ramgarh sector in Pakistan firing. The party workers raised slogans against Pakistan and demanded stringent action against the terror nation.
