SRINAGAR, Nov 8: Advocate Sheikh Ishfaq, a prominent political and social figure from Central Kashmir’s Beerwah, along with scores of his associates, formally joined Apni Party today.
The joining event took place at the party headquarters in Srinagar. On this occasion, the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, was accompanied by prominent party leaders as he warmly welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.
Besides Bukhari, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included- senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, Chairman of Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) Mohammad Dilawar Mir, general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, State secretary and spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, Provincial vice president Muzaffar Rizvi and others.
Besides advocate Sheikh Ishfaq, the new entrants included Hilal Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad, Abdul Rasheed, Ashaq Hassan Dar, Abdul Majeed Magrey, and others.
Speaking at the occasion, Bukhari said, “I feel immense pleasure in observing the dynamic and talented youth, along with seasoned political and social workers, enthusiastically aligning themselves with Apni Party in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir. I am confident that these new joinings will strengthen the party’s presence throughout Jammu and Kashmir and boost our efforts to usher in a positive transformation at the grassroots level, ensuring peace, prosperity, and development in the region.”
He assured the new entrants that the entire party leadership would fully support them as they venture out to serve the people in their respective areas.
