Bal Kala Kendra stood first in Ramlila competition

UDHAMPUR, Nov 9: The Ramlila competition organized by Narayan Kala Kendra Rehmbal concluded with a grand event after lasting for three days and witnessing participation by various Ramlila Clubs of Udhampur.
Results of the competition were declared last evening in which Bal Kala Kendra Chopra Shop stood first while Mahavir Youth Kala Kendra, Ramlila Club of Garhi acquired second place and Ram Kala Kendra Chabutara Bazaar stayed at third position.
First prize was of Rs. 11,000 cash and trophy, second was of Rs. 8,000 and trophy while the third prize was of Rs. 5,100 and trophy.
Rohit Kumar was declared as best actor for best performance while Mousmi was felicitated for playing the character of Sita brilliantly. Both these actors were from Bal Kala Kendra.
Rahul Kumar was seen in the role of Lakshman and Arun Sharma in the role of Ravana and they gave excellent performance.
A spectacular scene of Sita Haran was shown by the artists, which was chosen first by the judges.
Ramleela Director, Surendra Kumar congratulated all the artists and asked them to work hard in future to win more competitions.
