JAMMU, Nov 9: Department of Home, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, today accorded sanction to the placement of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) (Ministerial) in the Selection Grade (SG) non-functional.
The Government also ordered regularization/ promotion of 11 Inspectors/ Incharge DySPs as DySPs.
As per an order, selection grade of DySP was released in favour of Pawan Gupta, DySP (Ministerial), with effect from September 30, 2023.
Another order accorded sanction to the regularization/promotion of 5 Inspectors (Telecom)/Incharge DySPs (Telecom) as Deputy Superintendents of the Police (Telecom)/Inspectors/Incharge DySPs who have been regularized/promoted are Farooq Ahmad Lone, Saleem Mohammad, Riyaz Mehmood Masoodi, Surinder Paul and Vijay Kumar.
Meanwhile, as per another order, sanction has been accorded to the promotion of 6 Inspectors (Ministerial) as Deputy Superintendents of Police (Ministerial)-Administrative Officer.
The officers who have been promoted are Mohammad Yousuf, Kewal Kumar, Mohammad Yaseen, Abdul Gani Kuchay, Fayaz Ahmed, and Narrinder Singh.
All the regularisations/promotions shall be subject to outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before the competent court of the law, the orders said.
