Houses searched in Anantnag, Pulwama

Srinagar, Nov 10 : The State Investigation Agency today carried out raids at several places in Kashmir in a terror funding case.

The raids were conducted at a few locations in Anantnag and Pulwama districts.
The SIA raided the house of one Shabir Ahmad, a tractor driver, at Lalpora Chatlam in Pampore area of Pulwama district. They also raided houses of Farooq Ahmad Makroo son of Jalaludin Makroo of Muqdam Mohalla Awantipora, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Larkipora Awantipora and Abdul Ahad Khan son of Ambir Khan of Jawbrara Awantipora.
They also raided the house of Irshad Ahmad Parray of Jablipora, Bijbehara in district Anantnag.
The official said that the case pertains to the illegal raising, layering and laundering of proceeds of crime by the accused people.
