JAMMU, Nov 13: A teen-aged boy was assaulted and grievously injured by some of his friends in Trikuta Nagar area on City outskirts.
“The 17-year-old Aditay Kumar son of Peor Lal Mangraj and resident of Railway Colony, sustained serious injuries on his left shoulder when some of his friends assaulted him with a sharp-edged weapon (toka) outside his residence,” Police sources said.
They said that the injured youth was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while a case in this connection was registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar and further investigation started.
