UDHAMPUR, Nov 14: In an apparent case of suicide, a man was found hanging from a tree near his house at Ghordi while two boys sustained critical burn injuries due to fire in a shop.
Reports said that Raj Kumar alias Raju (43), son of Sumitu Ram, resident of Ghordi Jagir , was found hanging from a tree near his home under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by some locals, who immediately called the Police following which a team from Ghordi Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Ramnagar Hospital for the Postmortem.
A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, two boys sustained serious burn injuries when fire broke out in a shop due to leakage in gas cylinder. These boys were doing some work on gas stove when sudden leakage in the gas cylinder caused fire in the Karyana shop at village Balli Manta.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu due to their serious condition.
The injured were identified as Sunil Kumar (15), son of Sukh Ram and Hem Raj (17), son of Parkesh Raj, resident of Bal Manta in Udhampur.
