JAMMU, Nov 15: BJP OBC Morcha Udhampur team led by district president, Sagar Verma, called on Ashok Koul, party general secretary (organization) in presence of Sunil Prajapati, J&K BJP OBC Morcha president here, today and discussed in detail the issues of OBC community in Jammu and Kashmir with him.
Ashok Koul after listening the issues brought in his notice by the delegation said that the BJP is of the view that this community has been discriminated against and ill treated for long and that the political parties in the past were never serious for their welfare and political empowerment. He said that the BJP has repeatedly stood for equality and justice to all the communities of the society. As far as OBCs are concerned, the BJP stands for their socio-economic and political empowerment and the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre is committed to deliver justice to this community at all levels.
Koul asked the district team to intensify their political activities in the ongoing Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan programmes and educate the people to strengthen BJP and vote overwhelmingly in its favour in 2024 general elections to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of the country for the third term.
He also assured the members that OBCs of Jammu Kashmir will get all their pending Constitutional rights in coming times.

(retd), Subash Chander, Gurdeyal Dhiman Mandal presidents Krimchi, Majalta, Khoon, Tikri-alhad, Captain (retd) Nand Lal, Charan Dass Sumbria, Kuldeep Kumar Pathania, district general secretaries and Babu Ram vice president, Malhad Mandal etc.
