NIELIT trains defence personnel in ‘Python with Data Science and Machine Learning’

JAMMU, Nov 17: NIELIT, Jammu has successfully concluded a specialized 3-month training programme titled ‘Python with Data Science and Machine Learning’ for defence personnel sponsored by Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR).
The training concluded today and a valedictory function was held at NIELIT Jammu Centre which was presided over by Col. G.P Singh, Director DRZ (North) and Shameem Khan, Director NIELIT J&K.
Designed exclusively for JCOs and ORs, this training initiative was aimed to empower defence personnel with cutting-edge skills in Python programming, Data Science and Machine Learning. The programme focused on professional development, skilling and employability enhancement of armed forces personnel.
A total of 29 candidates participated in the training.
Colonel Singh emphasized on the importance of such initiatives in equipping military personnel with skills that are not only relevant in the current technological landscape but also opens doors to diverse career opportunities after their service.
Director NIELIT J&K expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the programme and highlighted NIELIT’s commitment to providing specialized training that aligns with the evolving demands of industry.
