RAMBAN, Nov 17: Two shops were gutted in a fire incident at Nachlana area of Khari late last night.
Police sources said that fire broke out suddenly last night near a Madrassa in two shops.
On getting information about the fire Army and Police personnel along with fire tenders from Fire Station Banihal reached the spot and with the help of locals they controlled the blaze from spreading to adjoining shops.
However two shops belonging to Abdul Rehman Naik, son of Ghulam Nabi Naik were completely destroyed in the blaze.
Abdul Rehman had given the shops to Hadayatullah and Manzoor Ahmed on rent.
SHO Police Station Banihal, Inspector Mohammad Afzal Wani said that no loss of life or injury to any person was reported in the fire incident.
