JAMMU, Nov 18: The quantum of development which the J&K UT witnessed under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government at the Centre is unprecedented and what is in offing is also unexpected in many ways.
This was stated by DDC Chairman, Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi after kick-starting the construction work of a bridge over Gumpal Nallah with an estimated cost of Rs. 12 lakh at Panchayat Lower Gharota Bann.
On the occasion, BDC Chairman Kuldeep Raj Bhagat, Sarpanch Santosh Kumari, Sarpanch Partap Singh Rana, Ex Sapranch Bhavishan Singh , Panch Nittu Verma and party workers and prominent figures of the area were present.
Addressing the gathering, Bharat Bhushan said that no previous Government in the country took so much pain as the Modi Government, which changed the scenario as far as development profile is concerned and also the political course.
The DDC Chairman said that a lot more is in offing in J&K with development touching new pinnacles and people getting those things which they have not even thought of getting in their dreams. He said that roads and lanes have seen a big difference in Jammu after the reins were taken over by the BJP Government in Delhi. He said that only this but many other roads and development projects are on cards and soon will see the light of the day.
Bharat Bhushan said that the phenomenal development scenario which Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing today is the testimony to the fact that PM Modi led Government’s performance is stellar and has no match whatsoever with any dispensation in the past. He asked the people to wait and watch the voyage of development being embarked by J&K Union Territory as soon it will become part and parcel of the pool of the states and UTs which are leading the nation by treading steadfastly.
