KATHUA, Nov 18: A 23-year-old youth died in a road accident here today, police said.
A speedy bus ran over one Zafar Ali of Ward Number 11, Kathua, on College Road near SP office Kathua, resulting in death of the youth on-the-spot, they said.
Angry over the death of the youth, the local staged a demonstration in Kathua, seeking a complete ban over the entry of passenger buses with the city.
Meanwhile, police have handed over the body of the deceased youth to its legal heirs after performing the post-mortem examination and started further investigation.
