Sir,
General elections are ahead and the politicians are at heels to reach to the voters. Alliances made to form the Governments are being broken. And the political parties, like always, tell the voters against their partners in the government. Thank God the Indian masses, though not as whole, but yes partially, have grown up and they know whom to vote. But the interesting are the lectures of the politicians. They still believe that they can fool all the people all the time.
Delhi assembly elections have broken the spine of those politicians who often try to blackmail the emotions of a common voter, be it in the name of so called secularism or be it in the name of patriotism or nationalism. The voter is also fed up with the false promises which the politicians make at the time of elections. Almost nobody wants any communal tension. Everybody wants peace. But the politicians have always divided the people on the basis of caste, creed, religion or region. The coming elections are not the test for the political parties but yes, they are the test for the common voters to analyze that are they fully politically educated for that democracy of which our forefathers had dreamt about and are they are concerned about their existential necessities rather than thinking on emotional rhetoric?’
Yours etc….
