JAMMU, Nov 19: Department of Home, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, today assigned to Bakar Hussain Samoon, Commandant IR-23rd Battalion, the additional charge of the posts of Commandant 2nd Border Battalion and Commandant 2nd Women Battalion.
An order issued in this context read, “in the interest of administration, Bakar Hussain Samoon, Commandant, IR-23rd Battalion, shall hold the additional charge of the posts of Commandant 2nd Border Battalion and Commandant 2nd Women Battalion, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
Meanwhile, the department also accorded sanction to the promotion of two inspectors (ministerial) as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Ministerial), Administrative Officer, Level-8. The inspectors who have been promoted are Bodh Raj, and Madan Lal.
