BJP Minority Morcha holds ‘Shukriya Modi ji’ event

SRINAGAR, Nov 19: The BJP Minority Morcha led by its J&K head Ranjodh Singh Nalwa and National convener, policy & research incharge (Dr) Zafreen Mehjabeen today held an awareness programme on ‘Shukriya Modi Abhiyan’ – a nationwide campaign launched by BJP to express gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership and commitment to the nation’s development.
On the occasion, nearly 150 Muslim women submitted to the Morcha leadership a letter, thanking PM Modi for his unprecedented and highly appreciable decisions on triple talaq, Hajj without mahram and the women reservation bill. They were all praise for the PM for his extraordinary decisions and said Modi had done what his predecessors had not even thought of attempting.
Besides Nalwa and Dr Mehjabeen, the event, among others, was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including Minority Morcha prabhari Sheikh Bashir, media incharge Sajid Yousuf Shah, social media incharge Sahil Bashir Bhat, office secretary Salinder Singh, Minority Morcha general secretary Imtiyaz Bhat, Munira and other senior leaders of the Morcha.
In her address, Dr Mehjabeen highlighted the policies and ground results of BJP Government, with a particular focus on minorities and women empowerment. “The BJP, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, has taken historic steps to empower women and address the concerns of minorities,” she said and added that the Shukriya Modi Abhiyan’ is an opportunity to express our gratitude to the Prime Minister for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of all sections of society.
Nalwa spoke about the Party’s commitment to inclusive development and social justice. He also apprised the gathering about the works done by PM Modi for their development and welfare. He said that BJP was committed to ensuring that all citizens had equal opportunities to succeed.
The Shukriya Modi Abhiyan is being organised in all parts of the country, with a focus on highlighting the Government’s achievements in various sectors.
