Theft case solved, 3 accused arrested

UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Ramnagar Police have solved a theft case by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of the crime and recovered the stolen rotar machine from their possession.
The rotar machine was stolen on November 17 from the house of one Ankesh, son of Baldev Singh, resident of Chanunta, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar. In this regard, FIR No. 130/2023 under relevant section of law was registered in PS Ramnagar.
Taking cognizance of the matter, a special team led by Insp Sohan Singh, SHO PS Ramnagar, rounded up some suspects who were put to sustained questioning. During questioning, one suspect namely Vicky, son of Kikru Ram, resident of Mani, Ramnagar A/P Dhar Road Udhampur, confessed his involvement in the said case.
He also disclosed that two more of his associates namely Ashraf Ali son of Abdul Jaleel of Mani, Ramnagar and Mohd Farooq alias Kaka son of Babu Hussain of Bali Nala are involved in it. Subsequently , the duo was also arrested by the Police team.
On the confession of all the accused persons, stolen property, worth around Rs 65000/- was recovered by the police. Further questioning of the accused was in progress to ascertain their involvement in other cases of theft.
