Workshop on Basholi School Paintings organised by INTACH

JAMMU, Nov 22: A workshop on the world famous Basohli School of Paintings by Indian National Trust for Art, Culture and Heritage (INTACH) was organised here today.
Smt. Renu Kotwal Officiating Principal of the school was the Chief Guest while eminent artist of Basohli Painting Surinder Singh Blowria was the resource person on this occasion.
Smt. Anu Kumari Lecturer History threw light on the history and main features of the Basohli School of Painting.
Speaking on the occasion, well known archaeologist and heritage warrior, Anil Paba co-Convener of Udhampur Chapter said that the main aim of the workshop is to preserve the art of world famous Basohli Paintings which are an integral part of our rich cultural heritage.
On this occasion, writer and cultural warrior, Ashok Sharma was also present.
Bharat Bhushan Lecturer Hindi conducted the proceedings of the programme.
