‘Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom to destruction’
*With Rs 45,000 crore turnover, no place for individual wealth in Patanjali: Yoga Guru

HARIDWAR, Nov 22: Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev has claimed it is truth that after getting doses of COVID-19 vaccine, people developed complications like paralysis, cancer, white-spots, liver and kidney problems, autoimmune disease etc. Under these circumstances issuing guidelines and directions for not giving any scientific documentation on complications of the vaccination is a big scam in itself.
“Either overdose of antibiotics, steroids or vaccine is responsible for all these complications but no one is ready to talk on how much responsible is any of these three factors for these complications and how can these be treated and if someone like me speaks he invites troubles while going for a research on this is also not free from problems,” said Baba Ramdev while addressing a news conference at the auditorium of Patanjali Research Foundation in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
He further said that none of the Governments of the world have so far come out with documentation on complications caused by COVID-19 vaccination.
“For me commenting anything about this before the year 2024 is not good,” Ramdev said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for the year 2024 to elect new Prime Minister in India.
“A Madhya Pradesh based young Naturopathy doctor of 25 years age working with Patanjali got COVID-19 vaccination and he died of cardiac arrest later. I will not talk much over this but will advise the people to practice Yoga and go for Panchkarma and Shatkarma therapies to purify themselves of the toxic administered in them else death may knock doors anytime,” the Yoga Guru said.
When asked, if he fears some action from Enforcement Directorate (ED) which stops him from speaking clearly, he said that being a saint he never fears anything but has already invited number of problems for himself by being outspoken.
Without naming anyone, he said: “We have very dangerous enemies and I always talk very carefully keeping in mind that outcome of my words may affect my works which in turn may affect interests of my nation,” he maintained adding: “Aisa Rajnitik Panga Jis Se Ho Danga Main Nahi Karta (I avoid such interference in political which may lead to some dispute or controversy).”
On his closeness to a particular political party, Ramdev said he wishes that political governments should not create any hurdle in good works by organisations like Patanjali.
“I am not against Congress. It was Congress Government in Uttarakhand with N.D Tiwari as Chief Minister which helped us for getting recognition for Patanjali University while the then Union Minister in Congress Government Subodh Kant Sahay had facilitated Patanjali in establishing its food processing units,” he continued.
Answering a question from a reporter, the Yoga Guru said that terror funding from the religious donations, oil trade of middle-east etc is not good and should be investigated properly and strict measures should be taken to stop it.
Similarly, on drugs being supplied by Pakistan using drones, he said that Border Security Force (BSF) has to play a big role to stop this.
“BSF should adopt zero tolerance policy against drugs coming to India by drones after crossing international borders,” he said adding that Israel type technology should also be pressed into service to stop narcotics being send to India using drones.
On addiction of mobile phone among children, Ramdev said it is not good and may lead to mental problems.
He further said that social media is also being misused these days to spoil the society by sharing vulgar, abusive and threatening contents
Taking a dig at Elon Musk, owner of social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Facebook, the Yoga Guru said: “Musk Ki Masti Aur Zuckerberg Ki Jugalbandi Nahi Chalegi (mischief of Zukerberg and Musk will not be allowed) to spoil our people.”
“There should be restrictions on posting of vulgar materials, abusive language and hatemongering on social media using religion as freedom of speech never means freedom to destruction,” he further said.
The Yoga Guru claimed that contents of education for medical sciences are made by drug mafia while with his efforts Yoga and Ayurveda have so far reached more than 100 crore people.
“We at Patanjali are engaged in constructive works and have employed 5 lakh persons in our organizations and 5 lakh more will be employed soon,” he said
Answering another question, Ramdev said that caste based census will be a big political issue soon.
“It is a matter of fact and concern that some people in same castes are leading a very poor and miserable life. So the reservation should be given to economically and educationally backward people,” he said.
The Yoga Guru informed that Patanjali is the only organization in the country which is free from caste domination.
“Every political, religious or social organization has favour for some particular community but we take masses and classes together and Patanjali has resources for the service of the nation and there is no place for individual wealth here,” he further said adding that annual turnover of Patanjali presently is Rs. 45,000 crore and it will soon touch the mark of Rs. 1 lakh crore.
