VIJAYPUR, Nov 23: The Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today marked the culmination of a rigorous 60-day pre-promotion course for 150 Armed Head Constables (HCs).
The Valedictory function, graced by Sarah Rizvi, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Training) at PHQ-J&K, celebrated the successful completion of the training.
During her address, DIG (Training) Sarah Rizvi extended congratulations to the trainees, urging them to bring dedication and zeal to their roles, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and people-friendliness of the J&K Police.
She commended the outgoing trainees, primarily from the 1987-88 batch, for their commendable contributions to anti-terrorism efforts, law and order maintenance, and other critical duties.
The DIG acknowledged the pivotal role played by Principal Shiv Kumar and the entire staff of PTTI Vijaypur, recognizing their dedication to providing excellent and effective training. In an interactive session, the DIG patiently listened to the trainees’ grievances, further emphasizing the importance of their roles in maintaining security.
The inspection extended to classrooms and Technical Labs of the Indoor Block, where the DIG participated in the valedictory function of a one-week traffic induction course. Certificates were handed over to the trainees as recognition of their successful completion.
Principal PTTI Vijaypur Shiv Kumar provided insights into the institute’s activities, emphasizing the course’s objective to enhance the skills of police personnel and expose them to the latest tools and techniques.
Among the distinguished attendees were Dhushyant Sharma, SSP, Vice-Principal PTTI Vijaypur, and several other officers from different departments.
