Commendable achievement

Sir,
I write to commend the Border Roads Organization (BRO) for their remarkable achievement in reaching the holy Amarnath cave in the South Kashmir Himalayas. The recent feat of the BRO in extending the road to the Amarnath cave is truly commendable. Their dedication and hard work have not only facilitated the ongoing work near the shrine but have also made the pilgrimage more accessible for thousands of devotees.
The completion of the nearly 13-kilometer road stretch to the cave from the Sangam base and Sangam top road via Baltal is a significant development, reducing travel time for pilgrims and ensuring safety in the challenging Himalayan terrain. The Amarnath Yatra holds immense significance for Hindus, and this year, with over 4.5 lakh pilgrims visiting the shrine, the improved infrastructure is a welcome step.
We applaud the BRO’s commitment to this project and their relentless efforts to reach the cave before the snowfall. It is indeed a historic milestone and a testament to their dedication.
