JAMMU, Nov 24: Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, released a book titled ‘ intelligent systems and applications in computer vision’, authored by Dr Shubam Mahajan, an ex-student of BGSBU.
Dr Shubam has earned his B Tech in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering and Technology, BGSBU and is presently a postdoc fellow in Norway.
Prof Akbar congratulated the author for documenting the wonderful scholarly contribution in the field of Computer Sciences. He hoped that this book would be of great benefit to the industry and academia.
Prof Akbar appreciated the dedication and persistence of efforts made by Dr Shubam in the pursuit of excellence in his field of study and bringing laurels to the alma mater, his family and the nation.
Those who were present on the occasion, included Dr A A Shah , Associate Dean Academic Affairs and Mohd Ishaq, Registrar of the University.
