JAMMU, Nov 24: DIG Shakti Pathak unveiled the Trade Brochure having detailed description of first J&K Orthodontic Symposium, being organized by Dr Akshay Gupta, HoD Orthodontics, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu.
The Trade Brochure was unveiled by Shakti Pathak (chief guest) along with and guest of honour Mahant Rohit Shastri (president of Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sanathan Trust) in presence of Dr Akshay Gupta (organizing chairman of the Symposium), Dr Aseem, Dr Rohit and Dr Tanushree and other members of the organizing committee.
First of its kind Artificial Intelligence based trade fair is being organized in the UT of J&K, in the first J&K Orthodontic Symposium, an event in which delegates from the science of orthodontics are coming together from about more than 20 premier institutions across the country under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shakti Pathak said that in this modern era of emerging technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) empowers the doctors not only for diagnosis but also for patient treatment planning and prognosis. This is going to be a great boon for the emerging field of orthodontics in specific and dentistry in general, he added.
Dr Akshay said that AI proves to be as effective and accurate as humans and can help practitioners to make accurate decisions in less time. He said it is indisputable that AI technology promises a bright future ahead in the field of orthodontics, involving various applications and modernizing both diagnosis and clinical practice.
