JAMMU, Nov 25: Police here today at Arnia arrested a liquor peddler and recovered 80 liquor pouches from his possession.
As per sources on specific inputs cops from Police Station Arnia arrested a liquor vendor Subash Chandar, son of Gian Chand, resident of Sheikhpur Allah, Tehsil Arnia while he was illegally selling country made illicit liquor near his house.
Cops recovered 80 liquor pouches of 150 ml each from his possession and registered an FIR under section 48-A of IPC against him and started investigation.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Arnia, Inspector Deepak Katoch.
