RAJOURI, Nov 25: Police in Thannamandi area of Rajouri nabbed an absconder who was evading his arrest for the last several years.
The accused has been identified as Gulzar Hussain, son of Wazir Hussain, resident of Shahdhara Sharief , Tehsil Thanamandi. He was wanted in case FIR number 22/2017, under section 420, 382, 323, 504 IPC of PS Thanamandi and a general warrant U/s 299 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of JMIC Thanamandi.
A Police team, under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi, Khaliq Choudhary and led by SHO Thanamandi Hilal Azhar, arrested the accused from Jammu on the basis of a human intelligence.
After production before the Court JMIC Thanamandi, the apprehended accused has been lodged in District Jail Dhangri.
