Demolition drive clears encroachment from State land

KISHTWAR, Nov 26: A demolition drive led by Tehsildar Drabshalla culminated today after removing encroachments from State land at Dugga area of Drabshalla.
The drive was a coordinated effort involving Revenue, Police and CRPF personnel.
The operation was accomplished by pressing adequate manpower and machinery into service for the removal of structures including sheds, walls and plinths on State land.
After successful demolition, authorities have identified 11 individuals from the area responsible for encroachments and their details have been promptly submitted to the DC Office, Kishtwar.
The demolition drive was carried out under the overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav and it remained a lawful operation.
In the light of this action, residents are specifically cautioned by the concerned authorities against engaging in illegal encroachments on State owned land.
“This serves as a firm reminder to the community at large to adhere to lawful boundaries and abstain from encroaching upon Government property,” a Government official stated.
